यस वर्षको मनसुनी वर्षाका कारण कोशी नदीमा आएको बाढीले कोशी बाँध भत्केर ठूलो धनजनको क्षति पुर्यायो । जसले गर्दा करिव ५० हजारभन्दा बढी नेपाली घरवार विहिन भएका छन् भने तीन हजार भन्दा बढि व्यक्तिहरु अझै सम्पर्क विहिन छन् । बाँध भत्कनाले करोडौंको खेती वाली नष्ट भएको छ भने अरबौंको भौतिक संरचना समेत ध्वस्त भएकोछ ।
जुन जाति, बर्ग, धर्म, मधेश, पहाड र हिमालमा जुन क्षेत्रका भएपनि प्रथमत: हामी नेपाली हौ र भैपरी आउँदा एक आपसलाई सहयोग गर्नु नै मानव धर्म हो भन्ने कुरालाई आत्मसात गरी कोशीको उत्पातले बिस्थापित बाढी पीडितकालागी एनपीओ तमू धीं जापानले संकलित रकम एक लाख यन प्रदान गरेको छ ।
